    Hell no thats not abandonment.

    Just find another job.

It is futile to deal with a company like that. And I would also send safety a voice mail or email explaining that they need to deal with the guy before he kills someone.

Unless the other driver owns that truck. He has no say in kicking you out. That’s up to the dispatchers or anyone upper in the chain of command. Do you happen to work for a mega carrier?

Mega or pipsqueak cheese express does not matter. What is important is that a valid worker team driver was threatened and kicked off the truck.

Both are not acceptable and the kicking off truck reaching back about 60+ years where if you ever kick a co driver out of your truck and they manage to find you, it's going to hurt before the law is called as well as your company. You do not leave people stranded. Even if you cannot stand them for a second.

I have had a incident where two 21 year old dealers (Anyone can buy a dealer license for like 10 dollars and hold one for dealer Auction sales. Here I am pulling a vehicle through the barn a generic used car, nothing I would look twice at.

Both of the little pipsqueaks managed to push my bottom really badly using the right combination of malicious teasing related to being a Temp.

I parked the car on which they were bidding deep in the Auction house's salvage yard next to one that is mostly wrapped in Glad trashbags and ducttaped. The words "Biohazard" was spray painted on the vehicle. Due to it being a coffin car what held the remains of people killed in that one.

I recognize in my body when that blood gets going and start to want to take their lives just one step below blind rage I walked to the time clock and clocked out and went home.

Two days later I was right in the head to go back to work. Boss man asked me if I am cool, I told him yes I am now, those two pipsqueak dealers pretty much stepped on my last nerve. What would you rather, be in the news paper for arrest following agg assault times two? Of course he did not.

I finally fixed that problem for the dealers, they came around again on another vehicle. After allowing them a moment to insult me, I get out of the car shut the engine off (Knowing you need a jump truck now to get it going) dropped the keys under the hood below the windshield wipers and walked to clock out. Whoops was it locked? oh my... that means the hood will have to come off somehow. Maybe drop the transmission housing to get at them.

Did this two or more times. Finally they just leave me alone. It worked out well.

If we were to accept your side as to how it really happened there is NO abandonment! You walked off your job. This is a dischargeable offense for most employers, this is your word against the other driver and it was YOU that walked off. I have seen teams fight. I once saw a PAM team fighting at a small truck stop in Alabama. Cops finally had to be called. The fight was as I understood it one driver was not bathing enough to suit the other. My father had to put out a driver way back when because this driver was parking during the night and playing pinball machines. You are hirable, just try to find a job as a single driver and stop with the teams. All this other stuff is hyperbole!

He didnt kick me off the truck but hes making up things like I was watching videos while driving and that's what they are saying they are firing me for now. First it was because I didnt finish the load now its unsafe driving while watching a video. I was listening to music not watching a video

They are also taking money out of my check for not finishing the load.

Dispatch was taking his side cause he called them first I did call the police cause he was just being a idiot then he started making things up
The police didnt take sides they told me I had to get back on the truck with him i did for about two miles then i got a motel

I don't know what to do. What are my options.

I did so safety but he didnt like how I did it. He started to yell making up things like I was watching videos i told him to stop i didnt say nothing that was bad hes the one that cusses like a sailor that's when he threatened me got up out of his seat and stood over me while i was sitting in the driver seat. truck wasn't moving that's when I got frustrated I started yelling back at some point he got on the phone to dispatch.

I don't know I don't think I did anything wrong but I maybe out of luck and in big trouble but I didnt do nothing. this is a small company.i think I'm being railroaded

Why do you care? Simply leave and get another job. Drama is pointless.

Sue the company if you can.

Or turn in a resignation and leave.

Obviously you and the company are not a good fit. Remember they chose to believe the other guy? Do you seriously want to still work there? Even if you could?

    Life isnt fair... move-on.

No I don't want to still work there. I'm worried about when I apply else where. Will they hold it against me. I know I didnt do what they said I did but the next company won't. I hope I can find another company that will take me

He didnt kick me out I left I've said that a couple of times now. He was a psycho he was cussing at drivers cause they were trying to cut in front of me while merging. Who the hell does that? He told me he went off on a veteran cause he asked about the army hat he was wearing.
