Is it a bad time?

    One thing I'm curious about as a newbie...
    perhaps those truckers who've been through past downturns can give an idea of how low weekly pay might go to if freight dries up....

    I just left Seward Motor Freight because of their current "downturns".

    My last week with them, I ran a whopping 1047 miles. At the 34 cpm I was making, that comes to $355.98 before taxes. I made more than that when I was 18 years old delivering pizzas.
