Just got hit by a driver from SFL Truck LLC based at Miami Florida. He provided his insurance info, when asked for his driver license he just pretended to look for it then took off!
The police came making report. The accident took place at Flying J. with minor damage though.
Is it a hit and run?

Sounds like an ex friend of mine. Gets dui like an idiot and then tries to run his truck anyway to make ends meet. Should have thought about that before going to a bar and getting liquored up like a college kid

No. He is a “million mile accident free driver” and that insurance card is a fake.

Sounds like a hit and run to me, but you may be pretty much SOL without a tag number.

Hopefully you got the truck tag numbers or at the very least the truck number.

Probably a fake insurance card. Need to have a national clearinghouse to check your insurance. It isn't to hard to print anything.

Always grab pics first when that crap happens. Plate, driver, truck and trailer, then start on damage etc.

    Buster Churry Thanks this.

I got dog tailed by some scumbag at 4 in the morning at a pilot a few months ago who ran.
Next time I park In a truck stop I am taking pics of both trucks next to me and plates.

Try to avoid them after that incident.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
