Didn't take him long to start tooting his own horn again after his accident. I guess it takes rookies awhile to learn their lesson.
I see you got it all figured out right,T? LOL.Pretty neat calculation man but it doesn't really apply to me.I don't need to do 3800 miles to make $1900.In fact I only do that many or more miles when I go West,AZ,NV,CA.And I don't go there often. I do long haul LTL.A pallet here,2 pallets there,10 pallets 250 miles away etc.I do few deliveries in a week but only 1 pickup(backhaul). Today morning I knocked off a stop in literally 6 minutes in and out.One pallet from the tail of the trailer.$50.That was of course extreme case but should give you some idea.
My bad, you have something different. I made an example on typical Chicago outfit operation based on my experience
Yeah, most Chicago outfits do just that so it's understandable you assumed that. 3800 miles EVERY week would be hard to do.I usually do around 3000-3200 a week. Take today for instance. I made $370 and drove total of 440 miles. Took me 11h 45 min to get it done.If my math is right it works out to $32.31/h.Not completely bad day for company driver but none of my stops was a regular warehause.
