If you like the job it's good , if you don't like the job it's not.

Didn't take him long to start tooting his own horn again after his accident.
I guess it takes rookies awhile to learn their lesson. -
Has to be able to learn , first .
driverdriver Thanks this. -
I see you got it all figured out right,T? LOL.Pretty neat calculation man but it doesn't really apply to me.I don't need to do 3800 miles to make $1900.In fact I only do that many or more miles when I go West,AZ,NV,CA.And I don't go there often.
I do long haul LTL.A pallet here,2 pallets there,10 pallets 250 miles away etc.I do few deliveries in a week but only 1 pickup(backhaul).
Today morning I knocked off a stop in literally 6 minutes in and out.One pallet from the tail of the trailer.$50.That was of course extreme case but should give you some idea. -
My bad, you have something different. I made an example on typical Chicago outfit operation based on my experience
-
Yeah, most Chicago outfits do just that so it's understandable you assumed that.
3800 miles EVERY week would be hard to do.I usually do around 3000-3200 a week.
Take today for instance. I made $370 and drove total of 440 miles.
Took me 11h 45 min to get it done.If my math is right it works out to $32.31/h.Not completely bad day for company driver but none of my stops was a regular warehause.
