Yes some are. Export and glider Argosy are built in NC and I believe the CNG trucks are as well. The rest are in Mexico . The only thing left in Portland is Western Star.

drivers have been csa'd over ANY light not working.

    don't know about the regs.

but if it's a light. cops want it working. and if you roll through a scale. they'll radio highway patrol. happened to me once. in des moines.

i'll never understand the need to light yourself up. just for that reason.

I was out of the Xmas spirit for a moment lol. I was almost creamed by an SRT steering wheel holder at the J in Effingham. Fortunately for him he was smart enough to not exit his truck and threatened the police on me.

Like someone mentioned before, front facing lights (other than headlights) are required to be amber and rear facing can be red or amber. That's the rule. But they're referring to permanently mounted lights such as marker lights and turn signals. But since you are celebrating the season, and because yours are clearly seasonal decorations and are not permanently affixed, I would say to go ahead and let them shine. But to be on the safe side, run the wire inside to a switch or other way to disconnect the power should you encounter a grinch in a DOT costume. Obviously, any time you are parked watching the truckstop parade would be OK to have them illuminated.
