I think it was what was the best color of truck you should buy to get the best fuel mileage. Or maybe it was which bungee cords were the most aerodynamic.

I still have a lot of them pass me.
A few years ago I talked to some of them at the bar in Wildwood, FL.
This group of drunken household movers never heard the term bedbuggers before and got fighting mad. I just ignored them after that

Several of the big guys bought each other out. Then the Feds cracked down on the smaller outfits over holding lds hostage for more money. So that closed some down
Then the economy being what it is, slowed things down also

    Yep
They work hard and party hard and mostly stay on the down low
In the early 80's 3 out of 5 trucks in s truck stop were bedbuggers
    Now it's maybe 1 in 25
    A dying breed.

Seems like Ive seen more of them passing through Arizona, and more small companies than ever. I used to just see Allied ( orange ), United, Atlas, but Ive seen nearly a dozen smaller ones that I had never heard of before. Some with some very rough looking equipment.

I think more people are doing it themselves like with U-Haul, Penske etc. Also anybody with a flat bed truck seems to be hauling those PODS:Freight container:around. A couple of the the LTL companies are also moving household goods. :Transportation cost
