Everything I own will fit in my conversion van.
My wife said, "you still have a lot of stuff here"
I said, "whatever you and the kids don't want, burn"
My best times were when I had nothing.

Such a good point ! When I was married to the lawyer living in the nice house , new pick up , garage full of toys I was misrable from the strife and argueing .
16 years after the divorce I have an ok truck ,a nice car and nobody to impress ...sure don't miss the lawyer , or the competition for first place .
    Much happier.

@bzinger now that you started this thread I am noticing them more on the road.

My dad was a local bedbugger his whole career. Now that man could back a trailer. Put it anywhere he wanted to. Would not ever drive a truck with a sleeper though. They bought him one and he asked what they expected him to do with it, when they told him drive it he told them to shove it up their ###.

He has told me a few stories over the years like throwing stuff out the second story window. That stopped when the ground guy was not paying attention when they threw a box spring out.

Or the time the lady kept bugging him to put things away in cupboards (they are not to do that) so he burried her phone in such a wwy that when it started ringing she could not answer it without breaking dishes.

He used to come home all the time with furniture people did not want. I was unaware that there were even ink pens that did not say us government on it...lol kg

I still give them most of my money voluntarily as well cuz i don't care about that either.
My life has become very simple.

    It was always an adventure
Once I moved a famous wrestler and when I was packing him I nabbed a cool cap he had thinking he wouldn't miss it.
    He did
I told him he should be grateful for the hubcap full of weed I packed that was under his bed.
    I moved Prince's girlfriend, Vanity.
She seemed to be most comfortable in just her underwear.
One time I moved my own car in a load.
I put a lady's mattress on my car's bumper, padded her new but crappy couches and put them against the mattress carton.
The cars suspension didn't coincide with the truck's suspension and the pads came off.
When I pulled out her three cheap couches, they no longer had any backing, just boards.
The carton going up and down had devoured them.
We tried to sneak them in and put them against walls but she insisted that the last one go in the middle of the living room.
I've never seen a woman cry that hard.
I said, "Lady, they were crap to begin with"
    Dang those days were fun.
