Is it possible to (actually) overload a semi?

    here on this image note that white part of road this is caused by cars drew it is 6inch higher than lowest part of road here, road is last time paved last summer in august

    some of trucks passed have 50000lbs per drive axles

    Need to build cement roads not soft pavement. Been out in Europe a few times and seen some of those roads. When it gets hot enough you can leave foot impressions like in wet cement.

    in some terms you are right

    we have in area where i live concrete road build in start of world war 2 and every day hundredth of trucks pass they are all overloaded you can see even up to 220 000lbs on 6axles or on 7 and road still exist

    but it is all cracked lot of those concrete blocks are now in lot of pieces...

    but problem is where they want to make
    intersection and need one or two more lanes and they just use asphalt there and this cause over years that trucks destroy roads because when they brake or something they move asphalt which is on concrete so

    asphalt is easier for modifying

    i dont know difference in friction between asphalt and concrete so i cant speak about that but i believe that it exist
