Now come on I'm sure that the flying j people are real smart when it comes to burning coffee, leaving hot dogs on the rollers well past their curfew and forgetting that when there is a LONG ### Line of people waiting that it is not break time
Is it possible to find anyone more dumb to hire for a truckstop?

those hot dogs crack me up------
looks like left overs from hiroshimaMarksteven and rocknroll nik Thank this. -
Ms. Nana, I thought you n hubby were owner-ops and therefore could fuel any cotton-pickin' where you want to???
The knuckleheads at the Hook probably don't know their code because they're so new at accepting Comdata and the management thinks that code is some kind of secret password, so won't give it to the clerks, who should have it but don't. (How's that for a run-on sentence?
)
Big Don and Texas-Nana Thank this. -
Oh heck no, we're company drivers. To be honest the ONLY reasons I'd go owner-op would be so I could install an apu and get a dog.
Oh my goodness I saw the sweetest little boy today. He was a yorkie and just had the sweetest eyes. He wouldn't look or play with anyone except me. He'd just run at me and jump straight up like he was trying to leap into my arms. Grandad had to physically pull me from the pet store.
I know that when that little dog baby was barking as we left he was actually yelling "Nana Nana! I wanna be a truckin' dog!"

My AJ is the reason I'm O/O. I wouldn't give him up for anything...or anybody, for that matter.
Love me, love my dog.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
I just can't seem to remember anybody with intelligence working for the "J" in Winslow...
-
Well, I'm a standing on a corner
in Winslow, Arizona
and such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a broken down Swift truck
slowin' down to take a look at me -
Well, it isn't like they have a HUGE labor pool to draw from out there.
But really, I put the blame for stuff like this squarely on the management. It is THEIR job to make sure their employees are trained. They just don't bother to take the time to do it. . .
And that is not something that is peculiar to the hook, or to Winslow. You see it everywhere in all types of businesses. -
God am i grateful to drive for who i do, when i need fuel i stop and get it no matter where i'm at. sorry to hear of your issues, you'd think they'd at least inform the cashiers of their code.
