There are still a few out there that don't own anything but that truck...they are making some serious $$$, I just hope the poor devils retire in time to enjoy some of it.

I've stayed out 2 months before...

I'd never imagined hometime would be so important in this industry, and I'm alright to stay out as long as I have a laptop and video games to enjoy and kill time, and while driving I can listen to my favorite music and also lots of ebooks that I've downloaded, I got a lot of motivational and educational audio books, those are very good and is a morale booster, and I have language learning programs so I can learn a new language while driving too, so to me it's really alright to stay out on the road for a long time, I really dont mind

Progressively I stay out longer and longer but that doesnt mean I don't want time off every now and then.

now that you mentioned it, I'm not a social person, I'm more like a loner, not having many friends, most people I know are more like acquaintances, I'm like a nerd or geek, whatever you may call it, all I need is video games and I'm set. Been addicted to it since the first playstation come out.

I think it boils down to whatever makes you happy. Just don't burn yourself out or anything. I think I'd be the same way, if I didn't know I'd go insane. I'm a geek too, but of the social, anime fan type. If you didn't say it, I would have assumed you were a geek because of your username... or that you have the coolest name ever. :biggrin_25522:

I haven't even been on my first run yet and can't imagine staying out that long. And I don't have a wife / girlfriend, kids, dog, home either. Might be different if I was teamed up with a significant other, but I dunno...

Between this and the gambling problem thread, I don't understand how someone can be this detached from basic human existence.

Is there anything you do that's mentally healthy?
