Care to share exactly which company it is you speak of? We understand I guess if you are reluctant to do so, but it would possibly help a great deal if you did tell us all.
Is it really this bad or is it the company?

So ya, it's pretty bad in certain areas of the country especially for open deck. -
I've heard that sometimes there's a long wait to get loads out of Laredo, but I've only been there 2 times,in and out both trips,no wait.Guess it depends on who is working to get you the load.
Lav-25 Thanks this. -
Midwest Trucker and Last Call Thank this.

Perhaps hubby likes Laredo for a reason and doesn't want to leave.
Had a buddy couple years ago. Was married with 3 little ones at home. He suspected his wife was messing around while he was away. So he booked a load to Laredo, got unloaded and stayed there 2 weeks. Said he had a great time. After his divorce, he spilled the beans on what he was up to in those 2 weeks. Conveniently, his dispatcher or coordinator or whatever she was lived in Laredo.....77fib77 Thanks this. -
1) Dont book loads in larado with out having one to come out.
2) if you hauling produce out and only sat 5 days this is a accomplishment.
3) it's random in this industry in don't be scared to move about. Texas is huge.
4) Have more respect for your boy friends life and dont send him to larado no more. Or youma.
One bad load of melons And he will be the next el Chapo -
Laredo has it's share of challenges, but you can book out before you go in.
If you go in blind, well, you get what you get -
Look 500 miles out dead head as needed and get to a better area.
I went to Dallas last week and my reload fell thru, so I deadheaded 250 miles rather than sit.fordconvert and Lav-25 Thank this. -
But I don't go far not knowing what I will pull back.fordconvert Thanks this.
