Ah, you went to 6 mos of school? How'd this go? Did you go one day a week or something? :biggrin_25520:

You haven't finished out a year yet. Are you figuring based on what you've made so far or do you get hourly?

nope, i think it was 480 hours, 4 days a week, 5 hours a day, never missed a day of school.
i get paid by the day, flat rate, no cpm, i work 5 days a week. and no i have not been driving for a year yet.
i no what im making a year, and im telling you/everyone that its possiable to make 50+ a year, you just have to " shop " around the way you would for a car, you dont just jump into the first " great deal " you come along, you always shop and compare then you choose

You worked 4 months and are making $68,000. Are you hauling nuclear bombs?

Absolutely you can make $40-50 K your first year. My boyfriend did, but his classmates did not. Chose your first company wisely.

DOING WHAT ??? If you are not going to name who you work for, it is either made up, or illegal. Funny how on the internet, you can be anybody you want to be, and make as much as you want to make.

    $68,000 / 52 weeks = $1,307.69 weekly

I dunno, might be b.s. ? but if factored in what and where it was happening then it might not be too far off in left field either.

I grew up in Los Angeles and then moved out to rural america as a young adult.

I never made the big paydays that some of my friends were making back in L.A. but what I did make seemed to go a lot farther.

My best friend was making 50k out of college and teasing me/bragging about the money and his 200k house...

I went to visit on my (lowly) 40k income and just smiled ear to ear to myself.

His 50 year old 1100 sq.ft. house wasn't nearly as nice as my almost paid for 10 year old 2400 sq. footer sitting on 4 acres.

and I also know a guy in alaska that would flat cut his throat if he got cut back to what I make now... so you gotta factor in purchasing power/cost of living to really decide what's what.

I'm very happy where I am now, not because the money is *fantastic* but because my living expenses are so low that I basically have three paydays a month to put towards savings and toys.

Much better than when I was young and two pay days paid the house, one paid for the new truck out front, and the last had to wrangle up the utilities and groceries. lol ohhh.... baby I was strapped!!!! lol

I would just like to know if this is some kind of union deal where you have to be somebody's brother or girlfriend to get hired. I'm not doubting that you can make that much, but it's not realistic to expect that much as a beginner. $50,000 is doable....not so sure about more than that??

saw another one in philly says 65k no exp needed: home nightly needs hazmat....

so can you do better than 50k... i would guess so... but not living in the other 95% of the country...:biggrin_255:

or maybe just not as easily and definately not as typically.

in any case, 50k is still better than 30k at a major and gone 10 days at a whack or longer...
