As a human born in 1990, I can walk and text at the same time. And I expect you to get out of my way when Im walking toward you with my face planted in my phone. And if you bump into me?? You better apologize to me for not giving me my freedom to walk around distracted without getting harrased. And if you dont apologize? Well, I'll call you RUDE!!

But have you ever been called rude by a millenial? It will tear apart the fabric of everything you thought was right and wrong.

When I think of a millenial I am always reminded of this guy from that movie Fast times at Ridgemont High!

Hey i was smart enough to be born after you old fools got done riding around on springs with no air conditioning, and walking 3miles up hill both ways to and from school in 8 feet of snow.

Yup being born after 1960 was purty darn smart :)

Lets see. I was born in 1958. According to these youngsters I have no sense. According to people much older then I am I am still a youngster. Confuses the hell of of a guy.

I know Ozark is switching to autos. They're way more fuel efficient and drivers can drive longer safer because they're not as fatigued.

I drove a standard for about 7 months. After getting caught in Hanover Penn for an hour and 45 min hitting every single light, I was ready for the switch.

Here at TNS the oldest trucks in our fleet are 3 years old, Many of our units are Manual... However, our newly ordered Freightliners are all Auto.
I've seen mixed reviews online, but our drivers seem to love them. (Most drivers say that the first generation of auto's were nothing but problems, but they've really evolved since then)
Although we do give all of our drivers a choice to stay with their manual truck or move into a brand new truck...most of them have chosen to move into the new trucks as they are equipped with the new APU's. Freightliner has also revamped the interiors in the 2018's: which offer more storage/utilization of space.
