Is it unlawful to carry a hand gun in the truck

It is amazing all of this info and not much being said.

Carrying a gun into Canada is a no brainer, carrying a gun in our country is another.....

 

Like this thread will be soon be, those threads are 80 pages of bickering from every possible angle without coming to a single definitive conclusion. The end result is always the same: "Sure.. maybe, well, kinda no.. but probably?"

I'll sum it up for everyone:

-Why do you need a gun? Thats what the police are for.
-It's against company policy. Never violate company policy!
-I'm guessing it's illegal, but i'm not about to look it up, so just take my word for it.
-The 2nd amendment triumphs all laws!! I will bare my bear arms and theres nothing you can do to stop me!
-It's a complicated issue because every state has different laws.

I'm pretty sure most of us are not lawyers. This seems like a question a group like the OOIDA (or maybe even the NRA or preferably a less scummy 2A group) might have an answer for. I've considered asking on some gun forums, but I figure the only answer you'll get there is a rant about the constitution.

 

I stand corrected. Missouri has changed, added and removed gun laws this past Aug 2013. I go over them once a year and know I see nothing pertaining to a CMV. Bold lettering are the changes.

I have an app on my phone that is updated constantly to keep up with the ever changing laws of each state. Between that and checking the carry sites regularly, I strive to keep myself educated and out of trouble.

I just got an IPhone and love apps....please sir, tell me the app you speak of so I don't have to search in over 900K apps, mostly stupid apps...lol I have a book that I carry but, it is not updated so, the app would be awesome...thanks in advance.
