    If you are only using for local weekend work, I was say no. But to be honest with you, how are able to turn a profit with weekend only loads, insurance, fuel, tags ect?

    Do you have 60k in the bank? If yes fix it. The. If it gets slow you can hold on to the truck and have a cheap truck once the market picks up.

    You paid insurance on it for four months and didn’t use the truck ?

    also , when a sell says X Y and Z has been done to the truck . It’s a lie . Unless they have receipts .
    Major repairs have warranty’s and/ or are tax deductible . So the owner would definitely have saved the receipts for their tax returns .
