^^^^^^ what she said.
I drove stick for a little, got put into an auto, then back to a 10... only thing you really "struggle" with is remembering the best rpm range for floating![]()
Is PAM using AMTs or 10-speed manual transmissions?

Autos a great for in the city But, I donot care for them on long upgrades! I dove a standard for my Personaltruck until about a year ago. Now, I sometimes find myself treeing toshift my automatic when I am off the Road. Skol is right it will comback almost Immediately I have meet operators who have gotten spoiledby them but, take what you get and make the best of it! It may be ablessing to start in one if you are a nee bee and need to concentrateon other things! You can always become an O/O and get what you wantafter a few years! Best of luck my friend! THGhost

So they don’t have manuals ??? I’ll rather shift gears works better on those hills

Don’t know why everyone is afraid of AMTs. They are manual transmissions shifted by computer. They get better miles per gallon. Granted, some manufacturers are better than others. The Volvo I-Shift is outstanding. One thing no one mentions is that every AMT can be operated manually. So, for those people that like manuals on hills, just go to manual mode. And upshift or downshift manually. Problem solved. Everyone that I know that was dead set against AMTs, once they drove one for awhile, swore they would never go back to a manual. And yes, they are outstanding in stop and go traffic. NO CLUTCH!!!! They are like driving your car. But for the Super Truckers, put it in manual mode and shift all you want.drumchaos Thanks this.
