I get the jab, but there's nothing wrong with dropping freight on time, and expecting that respect in kind.
With ACH NET 30, if the money isn't there on the exact day, I don't have to get the runaround. Just send them an email asking what's up? If I don't like the answer, I tell them they have thirty minutes to get it figured out, or I'm getting in touch with their insurance.
I'm an oilfield hand, and I have ZERO patience for incompetence, lies, and general BS. I am unaccustomed to the corporate world, and I am not sensitive to the hang ups that come with the laziness and inefficiency of running a desk. I want answers, and I don't mean after lunch.
I want to be paid in the same fashion I handled their freight. With care, respect, and expedience.
A deal is a deal.

I hardly ever do now as well. I just don't get the wait and see thing. I raise prices enough to cover quick pay if I use it or go with standard 7 day.TheLoadOut, Midwest Trucker and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

If you can find someone that pays on schedule it is not a big deal to me. I do prefer ACH instead of a check so that no time issue is delayed from the US Mail as it is used to excuses.TheLoadOut and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

All of you guys in the I raise my rate to cover it side… don’t you think I raise my rates as well? Only I don’t pay that stuff and keep the money. I understand the justification but it doesn’t hold water really if that makes sense.TheLoadOut, Rubber duck kw, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this.
