I am glad I am not the only one that does that. I always check Spam the same way as I check email.

You are kind of missing the point and I hope you don’t get caught with your dick in the cookie jar on the wrong customer on this, but we have one customer that is 90 days from invoice acceptance, so if it takes them 30, 60,90 days to actually accept it, it’s another 90 days from that date. Of course their bill always gets padded accordingly for the headaches

    Isn’t corporate America great?

99% of my income comes in the form of a check. Truck and farm. Will not deal with brokers that insist on direct deposit. If they got your routing number to put it in, they got it to get it out also.

Look at an average rate con, and tell me the nomenclature in regards to late delivery.

It's not that I'm impatient. It's that I refuse to waste someone's time, or treat their time like it's less important than my own. So I expect reciprocation. I made you my priority, so do me the same way.

TheLoadOut and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

Routing number just tells them what bank it is. I keep my business account empty except for the $12 maintenance fee to avoid ACH theft. As soon as it comes in, it gets moved to a separate account, so it's basically a dummy account I use as a buffer against my "real" account.

    TheLoadOut Thanks this.

Yes, I have someone who full time all they do is invoicing, receiving invoices, paying invoices, getting paid and my wife as well that oversees it and does all payroll and regular bill paying.

It just seems all normal to me. I can’t imagine an actual customer not paying by check. I guess we actually do have one but I dislike it because they use a bank to pay all their bills and charge ME 1%. Tweeks me a little bit. I will admit it’s fast though but I’d still rather have all of the money.

Not entirely sure what you're talking about by them accepting the invoice. I simply won't work with people who take more than 3 months to get me my money. There's too many broker out there to deal with someone who's stupid slow to get the check in the mail.

I mean I get that and I’m the same way as far as not Jack assing around and taking things super serious. I guess I just am fine doing that and it taking a little longer. I also feel like everything being digital is one step closer to the US dollar going to the way side and having a digital only currency. I’m not a fan of that as the government can take your money if you don’t abide by their rules.

If I had an employee I guess I would not care if it was all check then. Give them something to do and make it worth paying someone to do the job.
