I had the KL60 and it was a dandy 65w booster...nice cuz you could run it off a Cobra 25 (or the like) all off the power terminals in the truck or off a cig plug in most cars/pickups.

I think you would have to run the cb to the battery or fuse box to do that. 100watts is about the max a lighter could hold powerwise I would think. I generaly run my radio of a cig plug. It would be cool if you could run the radio off the cig light and run to amp off power points in the truck. I think the Prostars we are getting only have the power points. I don't remember seeing cig lighter in our loner truck we had.

Yeah it's a good lookin' little amp. Kinda tempting. Nice looking site and pricing. Unfortunately shipping is high. Very high. I'm used to Amazon - either free or under $10 or so.

Come to think of it I need an Amazon. Preferably redhead.

At 6-7 watts input you are overdriving most amps if it's not a HD. And the 203 run with a DK of 3 watts or less will run cooler and sound clean. And it will last for years. I got audio reports that I sounded just as good, or better that 2 other drivers running the Galaxy 48t.
