stoped at a service plaza in kentuckey and sitting there was a 2011 T-700 KW .
this baby is the bomb ! gloss black with their new wide body cab with fairings and aero styling ! I know we will probably never get any of these, but heck I can dream can't I ? I know roehl got some kw's but they got that old school narrow little cab,
which is ok but im glad kw is coming around with the T-700, loots of room and good look's.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

I was just on the Kenworth web site, it looks alot like the cheap plastic freight shaker inside and out. I want a truck with a hood, and something under it... I long for the days of a 3406 cat making 550 horse power. I want a real truck again!

Doubt that's on the list. However, I have been happy with the refurbishing jobs they've been doing on them in Marshfield. (I *think* we're doing those in-house.)

The referbs are like putting lipstick on a pig... Some are okay, buy most were shot before they started, so a new coat of paint and a new curtain don't help when you put 45000 pounds on them. The useful lifespan of a platform trailer is 16 years, beyond that you are pushing it. Lets face some things do wear out.
