its a small world, ran into a couple drivers in different parts, havent met anyone on the board yet but I know I have been near some of the same places and possibly even walked past them...
A guy I went to the Academy with I ran into a couple weeks ago in Oregon at a Loves and then ran into him again a couple days ago at the Mira Loma terminal, only seen 1 other person from the academy so far but always possible out there. Im running western regional now so I run into a few of the same people more often who also run western.

When I come back, the Western half of the US is all I want to drive. Before I left, I would run a huge loop from Edwardsville, KS to PA to GA to TX then back home in Wichita. Hardly ever saw the Western half after my first 3 months of solo driving. I love driving the Rockies. I hate the Appalachians.

once you go east they like to keep you over there, for my first couple months solo they kept me western anyway, I just dont like the hassles of the east coast especially finding parking. Also western im slowly getting familiar with a couple routes so far, I like getting a load and seeing the destination and think to myself, I know where im going and I know where im going to stop and park etc.

ohhh ok then......so it all depends on where you live within the area of the terminal where they run you the most

no not at all, they run you all over the place, im based out of California but I maybe 10% of my loads are to and from Cali

Only places I dont care to run to just because of freight issues is Washington, first time there I got out quick with a load, last time took 3 days and then the load I got wasnt even ready when i got there and they said 4 more days, ditched that load and accepted a graveyard 4 stop Fred Meyer load just to get out of there. I dont like doing graveyard but will if I have to, only had to do a couple of them so far.

Graveyard is when you are picking up a load late at night then having to run all night to deliver in the morning. Mostly JIT loads like FedEx
