It probably was the oil cooler, but now you just have residue oil still in the cooling system. We have flushed some systems for a solid 8 hours and a day or to later some oil still pops up in the reservoir. It can be a real pita to get totally clean. I think that is all it is.
Is the problem the pre-coolor or something else?
