If you go to Walle worlds web site you can get a small freezer, think its about the size of the larger dorm style fridges. I believe its only around $150, but you would need an inverter for it too. I use the large dorm style fridge, works good, but a bigger freezer would be nice. Wish they made one this size that was 50-50 feezer/fridge.

Hrm... I have an 850W tied into the batteries and a 300W inverter I plug into a lighter socket... I should take measurements of the POS dorm fridge I have, see if I can fit it in behind the driver's seat (Computer is in the "closet" behind the passenger seat)

Or..maybe just get a better one. The dorm fridge I have is older than my kids and is meant mostly for keeping drinks cold

I was going to say the same thing... Mine would freeze everything unless I turned it up... The dang thing would blow all my canned pop up inside and create a big mess... Mine actually came with a little freezer section just as a big fridge would come with... It wasn't very big but it was nice to have that little freezer section...

I had a dorm frig that was left after the oldest got through college that I put in my truck. I put a 1000 inverter in my side box (this kept the heat from it out of the sleeper) & ran the frig, microwave, tea maker, & a few other things. The frig had a big enough freezer in it to make ice with ice cube trays, keep frozen dinners, & other things.

I've seen Engel 12volt freezers sold at a few truck stops. I looked over on Camping World's website & they've got dual voltage (12v & 110v) freezers that look just like the 12v coolers you get at truck stops that cost between $600 & $800's.

You can go to NexTag & run some price checks.

Check out Waeco refrigerators. Their model cd30 can refrigerate or run as a freezer. I think you can get them from Kenworth dealerships.

You can also pick them up at the Petro in Joplin, MO.

Waeco is one of the brands I am looking at getting. I would rather get one that is designed to fit the cubby that I have for one though, so there's no need to invent a securement method
