    Good Morning Truckers!

Just wondering if there was a better opportunity in the flatbed division for a CDLA driver that needs refresher training? Do you know of any companies that offer this?

    Thanks for your input

Most of the information I have read indicatates that flatbededders and container haulers have it worst right now.

Maverick told me they were only hiring drivers with recent OTR.

Maverick is hiring drivers with recent OTR experience...they will train you for flat bed work if you don't already know how to do it and even if you do have flat bed experience I would recommend you stay the extra week and get trained to do it their way...it will make your job much easier (they have some neat tricks that they teach, workin smarter not harder)

Maverick offers a great opportunity...at least its always been that way for me (even though there were a few times that it didn't seem that way, but I later figured out that those times were my fault, not theirs)

I was hoping Maverick would hire me on but since I stopped driving OTR 3 and a half years ago they wouldnt even call me back and finally I called them to get the bad news. I assumed they were pretty decent to work for because I took over a truck when its driver went to work for them and he seemed to be happy with them.
