It's not so much maxing the hours but wondering how you are going to reconcile the logs after spending a whole day and change waiting without a sleeper. I stopped hauling containers because some of the most dangerous problems came up when I fought the urge to sleep at highway speeds due to the excessive waiting in those days.

Thanks.
There's also a company called golden strip transfer in the area. -
Was this before elogs?

Besides Schneider and JB Hunt, most don't run E-logs. Delivering near the port of Oakland, I'd be surprised if most of these companies even ran a paper log. Container haulers usually have a bad rep for crap equipment, pay and disregard for safety. I'm not saying everyone is like that but I've seen some real "winners" out there.

Back in the 80's days of overweight permits, alcohol permits, bingo cards etc. Paper logs too. (Much good they did.)
