    You can usually find someone who hauls grain. The elevators are closed on Sundays but you could get a Saturday run. Working weekends like you are wanting is difficult as you need someone who runs out and back. The usually means you are looking at LTL companies. Those are closed on weekends, mostly. But that is where I would start. Call less than truck load companies and see if they have a weekend Line haul position. Most cities have a warehouse district where you find all kinds of small trucking firms. If you are in Western Washington you might find a smaller company that has a run to Portland or Seattle. You would need to find a city that is 300 miles away or less. That way a round trip is a one day run.

    Heck, making that much, I would probably take that job and finish school on nights and weekends! Trucking might average $15-20/hr depending on how much of your 70 is used up at shippers/receivers. That's just my $0.02
