No it is not a scam! 3rd party recruiters work directly with national carriers to get drivers placed quickly. They invest so much into getting you in front of the line of applicants. If you have applied directly to the carrier and did not get contacted, it was that 3rd party recruiters that puts your candidacy back in the view of the carrier and can get an answer in 24-48 hours. They can also lead you to the highest paying roles because they have insider information.

This is NOT a scam, yes Swift uses third party recruiters as do other mega carriers. It is the norm and a standard part of the process. Being mindful that carriers use multiple platforms, and third party companies to hire for them. Speaking to several recruiters about the same job may become frustrating, but I encourage getting familiar with this. I think the disconnection with this, especially for a new driver is they are unaware of the actually hiring process.

I have to agree to disagree with this disappointing info. 95% of the trucking companies uses third party recruiters and Driver Pulse. This may not make sense to someone who is not on the business side of things. However it is completely a wise thing to have third parties as a filter for horrible unqualified applicants. Understanding what app to hire ratios are would give a better understanding. Not saying you have to agree, but third party has been around for decades. Numbers do not lie
