SOMEtimes abnormal is normal in the trucking industry. When things start making sense, it's usually time to worry. :biggrin_25525:

    That could be a dream.

    What is 33% of nothing?
And what about the lost time waiting? That should account for something. If the wheels aren't turning, neither are the profits from hubby's labor.

The more I read about that company, the more leery I am.
If I were your husband, I'd be seeking another gig, ASAP.
At least a company who's policies are easier to understand.
    Especially for a newBee.
I may be mistaken, but I feel a bad moon rising if they're keeping your husband in the dark.

BTW, does your husband get to see the freight rates received by his employer, or is he just expected to take their word for it?
    And 30% -- 33% AFTER fuel?
    Is the fuel surcharge included?
And again, is your husband privy to the paperwork?
It seems to me like the company has too many opportunities to cheat your husband, and just might be using every one of those opportunities, --- knowing your husband is a newBee.

At any rate, WELCOME to the forums.
I hope you'll continue to keep us posted on your husband's experiences. If nothing else, we may be able to assist him in finding a better gig.
    We'll do our best.

Well at least that's a little more. Don't forget to keep receipts of anything he needs to buy for tax time. Since he's not responsible for fuel, he loses the biggest thing to bring down what his taxable income is. Windex & paper towels even add up after awhile.

Good luck to both of you.
