I guess the moral of the story is, never post a question on TTR while driving.

No, they’re definitely all done trucking now.

Luckily for them it wasn’t a suicide coil.

This is part of why you strap UNDER the tarp

That looks like a tarping issue to be honest. Tarp came apart and let the lumber out. @D.Tibbitt noticed their cheap tarp with not enough D rings.

OP, don't let this deter you, if it was you. Chicago is the land of opportunity

Looking at the first picture, it would seem that a NO answer would be the better answer to the question.
Pretty clear that it is lumber under the tarps.

The next question is, how did this lay over. The truck and trailer seem to be on flat ground.

    Checking replies on TTR.

Wheel jerk to the right then a wheel jerk to the left is all it takes.

Looks to be somewhere in Florida judging by the grass and trees..85 at my house today and I’m in ND where it’s-15 :)

This happened my second day with a trainer first load. I was driving and terminated. After getting my license I applied to several companies. Anxious to get started western express responded first and I went. Flatbed was only position available for my area is what I was told! I knew nothing about flatbed and securement so I was trying to absorb all info from my trainer and didn’t question him. This was the first and only load he demonstrated how to strap and secure. Luckily nobody was physically hurt, I didn’t hit anyone else, and I didn’t get a citation. However I was terminated and in did go on my dac and nobody will hire me! I’ve been trying to accept responsibility and move on but it’s hard when I can’t get a job.

I don't throw any more straps than I need, but your trainer needs a kick in the balls.

Lumber moves so easy, even when strapped well. Always strap it down like your gonna wreck

Coming down from an overpass then merged left into a curve that looped around. But as soon as I merged and started into the curve I felt a push and the trailer kept going turning over and rolling the truck also.
