And I was the corner queen. I probably used to many corners but never had a claim either.
JoeyJunk, singlescrewshaker and cke Thank this. -
As much as I hated harping.....I would tarp this just in case.
JoeyJunk, Kyle G., TravR1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
No expert here but I would x wrap the rear pallet.
Nostalgic, beastr123, God prefers Diesels and 7 others Thank this. -
I would put one of the two on the rear unit on a diagonal to wrap around the back//can’t walk backwards that wayNostalgic, God prefers Diesels, blairandgretchen and 7 others Thank this. -
Dispatch says no tarp. The load has been sitting out over a day waiting for me.
I did have that thought. This stuff looks awfully clean.God prefers Diesels, blairandgretchen, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
That was my thought too. I was wondering if that stuff would get slick when it was wet or maybe start to deteriorate. It would be a bummer to wind up with a 40,000 lb pile of mush.
And, as long as we're talking weight, check weigh that thing. Never trust a dispatcher's weight guess.
See if you can get them to specify No Tarp on the bills or at least a screen shot of your dispatcher's saying no tarp.
In any case, CYA and have a good ride. Let us know how you make out.CAXPT, Sirscrapntruckalot, God prefers Diesels and 6 others Thank this. -
Not a chance I would tarp that load, especially for free.

They taught me to put straps over the outside of the rub rails. Is the inside better? What's the benefit of going inside? I've been told to go inside before by other guyscke, Dgr and singlescrewshaker Thank this.
-
On the outside if you get sideswiped the straps can be cut.
