It's a 1997 N14 on the plates it says 370/435 1450/1550. Does that mean it can be rated to either one or does that mean it's a mulitorque ?

Usually lower torque and horsepower on the pedal, higher on cruise control.
I drove a 370 /435 over 15 years ago, if it was hilly, you tried to keep it on cruise control as much as was practical. -

What does it say on the ECM?
Celect or Celect Plus -
Best honestly to have the ESP turned off in the settings and just flash it with a regular 435 file
