USX charges you a "Compliance" when you fuel where you aren't supposed to.....or when they started using the new cards last year and the Flying J hadn't updated their computers to accept the fuel card.....I got hit at least 3 times.....just call the fuel department and find out what is going on. If it's a false charge they can reverse it.

There are also other charges you want to watch for....one is a charge for using you fuel card as your personal debit card....it's called "Payroll Expense".....I was paying a little over a dollar a week for quite a while before I found out what it was and I only had $4 on there.

They send you out of the way because the fuel is a little cheaper there.

I did get my fuel stop changed a couple of times (you just have to call the fuel department).....one time my fuel stop was 15 miles behind me as I came around town on the bypass....LOL

During my first two Weeks I always called, then I got bored sitting on the line for 20 mins, ignore the stop and get rolling, wont do it anymore.

you are wrong...depending on HIS state income tax with holding, he may be paying MORE taxes then you or me.

then there may be TDI (temporary disability), which IS a state tax..

i know, MY STATE takes that out of me as well..!!!!

where you in NY have only 4 tax items deducted, in MY STATE, i have 5..!!!

so don't go around saying truckers DO NOT PAY anymore taxes than anyone else. it goes state by state.

this what i tell in otr class, they get all excited, i got my.34 cent's, i just look at em, is that before tax or after tax, then they look at me kind of weird like, some might knock it down too .24 cents a mile after taxes, something too look at i told em.:biggrin_25525: on the footnote, i always thought they should pass a bill a bill , so truck drivers don't have too pay taxes on the stuff they buy anyway, like in the resturant, the store at the truckstop,or any wear, just flash your cdl and good too go your tax forgivian, after all we are taxing our self , becuse we deliver to the same goods too this place 24 hours ago.
