Most of what I haul is less than 400 miles, so I usually do one a day. With the side kit it's only about 2 minutes. If there's a line, I'll bung the corner and middle and get out of the way too.
Is this ok? (chaining)

BUT......!!! In this situation this guy used the frame of this bus as his anchor point! We all know or should know this is not correct, since the suspension flexes up and down. Attaching to the axle would have been harder but also “Secure”!
I walked in the guard shack and ask the driver if he knew his binder was loose? He just looked at me and mumbled.
Pamela1990, stwik, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this. -
You have zero anchor points on your trailer. Each corner needs anchored on the machine and on the trailer as well. But..... you are here asking for help and advice which is great! Be safe out there.Pamela1990, Oxbow, MACK E-6 and 5 others Thank this. -

@Tug Toy
I've seen a lot of dunnage walk out of landing gear because of broken bungees. -
Example of cross chaining and using one chain with 2 binders. Notice the loose bit between the binders...DOT will look for that.TripleSix, Bean Jr., PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this.
