I got a warning and inspection. For being 2500 - 5000 lbs. overweight. 5 days ago. No inspection was performed though other then basic paperwork. No warning tickets. I was told no points. I'm betting come next month when i pull up the company profile. I'll find some points though.

nope, overweight tickets have no CSA points attached, just money. Although if you are grossly overweight, i'm sure they'll do a real inspection and find more stuff.

If it’s on an inspection report you can dataQ it, or your carrier can at least. For some BS deal like this as long as he took photos before and after the tank wash, he should be good to go.

That’s an Ahole cop being an Ahole. He feels good about himself, because he cut the driver some slack and didn’t park him on the spot or write a citation.

The DOT officer probably is getting kickbacks from the truck wash. That's more common than most drivers think.
Same thing happens at trailer washouts; companies look inside the trailer and say they won't load it until it's washed out, then send you to a place their nephew owns or where they get a kickback.
