Is this wrong or would it be fairly common?

    So, again...

What will happen if you take the quick job and the switch to the preferred company? You have any contract with the school or tuition reimbursement?

Not that it's a big deal, you are just going to owe something to someone either way. Might as well do what you want. don't worry about job hopping or breaking contracts. Just know what to expect, like a bill in the mail. Thats all.

Ditto ... If a company is scouring social media to find out what you're posting, then makes you what else they're wasting thier time on.

I happen to know an OO that lost his job very recently because of a comment posted on social media. lol
It wasn't even anything bad, but the powers to be didn't like it.

I still say he's better off. If the company is that focused on silencing everyone, it has to be for a reason. Usually the reason is it's a horrible company to work for.
About the only legitimate reason is if they were in an active lawsuit, and the driver was asked to not talk about specifics in it.

It was actually one of the better companies to work for here.
There are only a half dozen companies that use oo's full time, and they do not use a lot of them, it doesn't pay one to burn bridges here if a guy wants to be leased on especially if you buy a new truck every couple of years.
I see on the internet all the time where folks gets fired from posting on the various social sites, I doubt any company likes having the bad press. I have even seen where a soldier was discharged from the military, because he couldn't keep off of a social media site.
    It's real and it happens.

To the OP, if you think you will need endorsements and a twic card and it is going to be a while before you can afford them to get this dream job, what is up with that.
I can not imagine them running over 3 to 5 hundred bucks bucks total. I would sell something, pawn something deliver pizzas, pimp myself on the street corner, anything to get that kind of money, if I thought it would get me hired on when I got my license.
