They've been doing that since they started, not that low of a rate but a heck of a lot lower than we as O/O's could afford to run.
One other thing I just remembered, TMC has a Logistics company but can't remember the name, so they don't even need the trucking side anymore to drive down rates.
Is TMC going Under???

true they have cut alot of rates all over the country and then they wonder why they are in trouble
-
Exactly,......How can a company run around hauling stuff for little to no profit,...... -
Pride will destroy you, where do you think arrogance comes from ?

It sure cant come soon enough. I asked why one of our rates dropped so low on one of our accounts, dispatcher flat out told me "we have to compete with TMC's rate or we dont haul any of it".
-
I know their logitics came into middletown Ohio and cut the rate to Greenville Sc from 1700.00 to 750.00 a load and it all happened when fuel over 4 dollars a gal .
-
But daaaamn. A whole dollar ????
I'm watching that meltdown occur now. I'll jump on the bandwagon once one of their employees spill the beans within this forum...and there are plenty here.
Until that time, they'll remain nameless. If the economy picks up, they may be okay. But they're bleeding money right now. -
Thanks for getting that info to them joecool and coonass. Sorry the link didn't work for all of y'all.
-
I dont know if they will be able to come out of this one with the economy in the shape its in with everyone being tight with money and all ...I do hate it for the drivers and there families..
-
Now if we can get Western Express to follow, flatbed rates might come back a little.
