Nicely stated!
I would wonder how soon you are going to jump from my company if you have jumped twice at the last 2 jobs, I wouldn't spend the breath to tell you to go away, Get some longevity and then come back when you can prove you are not a "Job Jumper"
Is training counted as experience or just solo time?

In my situation, I was released from Howard because I tried flatbed and couldn't handle the tarping part of it. They released me. My second, I was terminated for leaving the fuel hose in the passenger side tank at the terminal and drove off. I didn't quit either. Just rookie mistake. I had refueled four days consecutively and got complacent and just forgot. No tickets, no traffic accidents. I would have stayed 20 years with my last company, if I hadn't made that mistake. I loved them. And I loved the work. Think I would reapply in the future, If I can get another shot now. Thanks for your input. Just felt I needed to clarify. I've held jobs for 5, 13,4 and 11 years respectively before I got into my first year of trucking. If I can survive my infancy, I plan on eclipsing those marks, by a country mile. A lot of my training could be called teaming as we had freight to move and I enjoyed my trainers. But I learned more in those six weeks by myself on mainly what NOT to do. School can teach you but so much in four weeks. Trainers teach you what to do. God bless.

Most companies I have spoken to only count 1st seat driving as experience.
gntorres61 Thanks this. -
For the record, I got two invites. TransAm and Superservice. I am at TransAm now. If they force the leasing down my throat, I will stay. I like the automatics and their trucks are loaded. Just prefer to be a company driver right now.
