    Being honest with these companies will risk your chance at a job.

    We met a husband/wife team who applied to Schneider but the husband admitted to something minor medically from a few years ago. They turned him down over it. Applied at Covenant and never mentioned it this time. They've been there almost a year now.

    Well I apologize for not changing that in my profile. I actually drove for a year in 2008 until I got laid off from flatbed job at Boyd Bros due to the economy as they said. Took my refresher course earlier this year and worked for them again until last month. Im sorry but I dont like the idea of making 450 bucks a week doing flatbed and begging all the time for miles. Getting my load there early and sitting for hours waiting for another.

    With my medical problem all that got solved yesterday, Im clear as can be. However the company did not feel comfortable with me taking the medication so disqualified me (btw I got a medical card, cleared the drug screen, had my physician write off on it blah blah) so thats why I'm asking about USX

    That makes sense. Glad you have the problem solved. There will be companies that will take you. If you need to be on the meds then they will show in the drug screen. I would ask up-front and get it in writing. Make sure you take a letter from your doctor regarding the prescription. The recruiters get paid for butts in the seat so they just want you to show. Make sure you get the green light from the company for the prescription in writing.
