Ishift shifter upgrade

I just got used 2014 Volvo with d13 and I shift. The shifter is basic shifter so it don't have the + and - buttons to switch gears, to down shift you have to use kick down and the shift into M so it holds the gear. I used to have 12 speed Fredomline and I was able to down shift when I wanted.
Question is, can I just buy the upgraded shifter and installed or it has to be programed to work, I would only need the next option step up so it will have +and-. I'm not too interested in Power/sport mode.

Its weird because the truck has I thing good options because it has leather seats, refrigerator, premium cluster and diff temperature gauges, but the shifter is basic.
I see shifter I could get for around 200$ used but I'm sure dealer will want about 300 to program it.

 

Does any one know what parameters codes I have to use to program upgrade shifter?

 

so only dealer can do this?
