I’m not sure I’m in the right forum, but I figured this would be a good place to start. Can anyone point me in the direction of some trucking companies that hire for driver unload positions? I really enjoy unloading trailers as opposed to drop n hook and I only know of dollar accounts and food service delivery companies Sygma, Sysco, and Mclane. Does anyone have any leads in or around Michigan of companies hiring that DON’T do drop n hook? I’ve even google searched “touch freight” but because it’s not very popular only “no touch freight” comes up lol. Please help!

Try grocery store fleets, they often require the driver to unload the trailer at the stores.

There may be a cattle pot in your future?

How about tanker or bulk pneumatics where you have to blow off / pump off your load?

I live in the Ann Arbor area, but I'm willing to travel. I don't want to go OTR, but beggars can't be choosers, right? I wouldn't mind Regional, but Local is ideal.

I'm not exactly sure what that entails, but I'm definitely open the ideas. I see I have a lot of work ahead of me lol
