As for the shipping of something like water.. Well the bottling is likely much cheaper than having a plant in Indiana, so even if shipping is 2x the cost of the product, it's still cheaper to bottle there.

True.
Although, I took bottled water from one bottling plant to another but even with that there must be some business reason behind it. I speculate that it must be related to some production/inventory circumstances.
I am all for it...more work and that's good.

It is interesting that values of some commodities are worth less than the very rate for which they are hauled. For instance, I always wondered about the logic of hauling bottled water from California to Indiana.

Lol wow that is interesting... I would get loads of water out of weed California and deliver to south Cali but all the way to the east makes no sense to me at all. What they don't bottle water back East.
