To be honest i don't know what route he took exactly but he says he did not take a high altitude route since only maybe 1 bag in some of the boxes popped. Shouldn't they give us a specific route to take? or am i asking for too much? this load was over 1,000 miles and only paid $800 btw

Bad things happen when you run cheap freight.
    It's karma.

You have to send what is called a on hand notice to shipper consignee and broker before you take the load any where.Should have been done in first 24 hours. You have to mitigate loss.put on letter you have shipment at delivery point you are going to take shipments to a warehouse take pics have warehouse inspect.also put in letter shipment to who it concerns it will be sold at distressed price to mitigate loss. Its a lot first call your insurance co_Often they can help you.

They figure since you run the cheap freight you are easy to get over on and will move whenever THEY have a solution........

Doesn't matter what you say to them at this point cause you've already proved you are not a professionally run outfit by agreeing to an 80 cent pet mile. rate.

NEVER AGAIN will we be doing business with this company, the only reason we took the load was to get out of that state

You can't sit on a load that long you won't be payed for your time. When load is rejected call your insurance company immediately let them no what is going on they have the resources to help you
