I have fixed my fridge in Volvo 780 just needed a new starter, guy has checked it for leeks and recharge it, costed me 350$ CAD if had to replace a compressor as well it would be with labor around 500CAD.

A good power supply will flatten momentary spikes or even momentary losses of power. It looks like a regular power strip but is thicker and heavier due to extra transistors and whatnot inside. Even better, you can get a thing called a battery backup, which will look and feel like an extra heavy powerstrip, like several pounds, that can power the fridge for like a few minutes during power loss.

I usually cut my inverter off at nights so how will a back up help me when I cut the inverter back on after I start the truck up?

Volvo fridge is completely different animal. BTW you got ripoff from this guy.
Fridge compressor controller is $ 134.95, compressor is $150 on Ebay all day long. Refrigerant is $ 6-8 in any Walmart.

I bought a dorm fridge, worked great for several years. Put the truck in shop. Mechanic raised front of truck several feet in air. As a result refrigerator did not work. Has to be kept level.

Fast forward to 1:53. You can change the subtitles to English. In his later videos he said he didn't have anymore issues with the fridge.

I use a cheap Alpicool off Amazon. It's a cooler but has an actual compressor. It's been doing fine for over 3 years and it gets beat up pretty bad. Was only like 250 or something when I bought it.

    Jarhed1964 and skallagrime Thank this.
