Why? I do not know. Trailers with 36" king pin to front are available here but that setting is not very common.

Ive never seen an 18" Setting. The following is all Ive ever seen.

Shallow 30" (Common on pups to allow more clearance with forward set landing gear to stop pups from noising over)

    Standard 36"

Deep 42" (Becoming more popular as it allows closing the gap without overloading a setback steer).

    How is that possible?! :)
I got my EGR fixed with a little help of a steel plate. Still getting between 6,3 - 6,5. I always haul light loads 5k - 20k. Cummins ISX CM870 on International. Don't know the numbers for my diffs but it has 10 sp. Eaton autoshift.
Friend of mine has cummins ISX on Volvo (with automatic as well) and he said he gets 7++.
    Am I missing something???

I have a Volvo w/ISX Cummins CM870 with a 13 speed. No matter what I do, If I am loaded or bobtail, I get 5 to 5.5 mpg. Any help would be great.

I just picked up a 2012 Peterbilt w/ isx. Previous driver turner it in for the 5.2 mpg he was getting. I immediately installed an "Aircell" unit (Aircellfleet.com) and immediately increased my mpg to over 6.2. After a few full loads 30,000 -40,000 lbs running Ohio to California to Phoenix to Dallas and on to Pensacola my ISX reaches 6.9 h 7.2 mpg. Aircell cost me $152.00 and 15 min install. Good luck to ya, from one OTR trucker to another - James
