I have a 2009 ISX cm871 and the jakes have never worked since i bought it, a while back they started working for about a month, then nothing again. Had it hooked up to the computer and everything said it was working properly, new jake harness under the valve cover, switches working, clutch sensor working, cruise works, solenoids work manually. I decided to tear into it and get them working thinking it was a bad wire somewhere and i found that pins 31 and 11 are dead at the ECM im not sure why that would be the case. Any ideas or recommendations are greatly appreciated

What truck?
To be honest most issues can be traced to the truck side. Dash switches, brake switches and so on especially when the issue is intermittent. Since the cruise is not affected. I would lean forward the Jake switches or wiring from the switches to ECM. -
its in a 2009 T660, that makes sense, just not sure where else to check on the truck side. when i had it hooked up to the laptop it showed all the switches working properly on all stages. my mechanic told me to check pins 1 & 5 at the valve cover and those were dead as well which led me to check the pins at the ecm.

If it were mine, I'd next be looking at the throttle actuator.
