    I feel this post is old but the timing actuators and fuel metering actuators are the the Achilles heel of the isx, you can take them apart and tighten them up but you’re better off replacing them after a few hundred thousand, they never give faults unless it’s electrical. You can knock out injectors cylinder heads pistons and valves in an awful hurry if you ignore them.
