ISX Cummins updates

Anyone with Insite Pro paid subscription can perform ECM calibration updates. Most dealers can do this. Most private shops do not. Updates come out all the time until Cummins decide to stop supporting that particulate engine model year. Updates are very beneficial to improved operation and reliability. Not all updates may be for your application, but you should be having someone check at least once a year. Every 6 months would be better.

 

Was wondering if you can tell if my ECM needs any updates?

 

This can only be done by plugging into it and seeing what the current revision at and then looking up that code on Quickserve to see if there are anymore updates. Nothing can be done here.
