ISX flutters at idle

When you do the new turbo don't you need computer to set the actuator? I have mine scheduled to head into the shop on mon the 21 for timing check, turbo check, some exhaust work, egr "testing" and some tuning. I too did all the cleaning and replaced all the sensors and doser and that cured my check engine light but still has a lag in the turbo and sucky fuel milage. 3.9.

 

Overheating yesterday on the hills with empty trailer temps in the 70s. Replaced t stat this am and temp is back down but its also in the 30s and rain snow mix today. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
