I'll have to look that up. Having never worked on these big diesels before, a lot of the terminology is Greek to me. I did adhere strictly to the instructions rawze gave in the video.

I thought he was just referring to the check spec for a top end set vs the spec you set them to if you are adjusting it.

Could be, and that is a very wide spec!

Especially after going through a genuine Cummins Recon engine from Mexico. Just did long block ISM that comes without jakes and needed bridges and injector adjuster screws. Don't think the use a 6 in/lb wrench, but maybe a 60 ft/lb because they were tight!

I may have to put you on 'ignore', #### it....
After replacing what appeared to be the faulty injector, I was still finding fuel in the oil. I finally had a chance to get the truck into a shop and they found a hairline crack in the number two injector port. :-(
I also had them drop the pan to check rod and main bearings. Bearings were shot, crank wasn't damaged though.
Attached are pictures of a couple of the bearings. 20200125_130248.jpg 20200125_130054.jpg 20200125_130123.jpg 20200125_130419.jpg

I'd say I was extremely fortunate that none of them spun.

I'm also going to give an endorsement to Schmid and Sons in David City, NE. Ten days from the time I dropped the truck off it was ready to go back to work.

Bearings are getting pretty bad. Sucks ya had to do the head and the injector.
Ah well, as long as the fuel stays outta the oil

I figure the only thing that saved the crank was being in a bath of diluted oil. If I'd tried to keep the fuel/oil at its proper level, the crank would probably have been toast, too.
