And has anyone noticed that 4th of July would be much better if it were completely dark when the fireworks begin at 2100?

And it's almost over. Maybe. With any luck.
Bill approved by U.S. Senate would make Daylight Savings Time permanent in 2023 -
I saw that today.
I would rather Standard Time be the default.RockinChair, D.Tibbitt and snowwy Thank this. -
The later sunsets would be nice but I think I'd prefer earlier daylight in the winter. Just because of the winter conditions on the roads.
Some of us hate driving in bad conditions in the dark. The storm is gone but the roads still suck until the plows come out.D.Tibbitt, Boondock, stuckinthemud and 1 other person Thank this. -
It would be "standard time" year round, not daylight savings time. Az. runs on MST, Hawaii on HST
Boondock Thanks this. -
i hate it.
i have an internal alarm clock, that "automatically" wakes me at 4 AM daily, 7 days a week
now the alarm clock has to do this for a few weeks, until my body re-adjusts to the time change.
which means that my body is now waking up at 3 AM
the past couple of days, i have been literally falling back, sometimes back onto to bed, as i crawl out, or as i walk into the bathroom...i cannot take this time change as i get older.
being active like i am makes it worse.
if i were sedentary, in a rocking chair, all day long, i wouldn't know, nor feel the difference.Boondock and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
RockinChair, JoeyJunk, Moosetek13 and 5 others Thank this.
